Man Shot During Argument Dies in a Pool of Thick Blood

This man got in an argument with another, another man pulled a gun and fired a shot. Argument ended and so did this unlucky dude’s life. Dying in the pool of your own blood is a shitty way of seeing an argument to the end. Blood he’s lost is very thick and there’s a lot of it so he must have been shot somewhere where one of the main arteries is. Though no matter how hard I’m looking at the photos, I can’t figure out where exactly he was shot. Can’t see no entry or exit wounds.

Large Truck vs Small Child – Who Wins?

Everybody knows the answer. What you don’t know is that the truck is without a scratch, like this collision never happened, where as that little child is… well, obliterated (my favorite gore word). The boy had absolutely no chance. Must be terrible for parents to find their child looking like this. What a tragedy!

The thing is – somebody was supposed to explain to a child that playing on a road or trying to cross recklessly is a no no. And somebody was perhaps also supposed to supervise the child as he doesn’t look old enough to act responsibly. Somebody somewhere has failed and the result is this horrible tragedy. Perhaps the only condolence is that the child didn’t suffer much (or so it appears). The truck showed him no mercy and sent him across the river Styx quickly.

Vintage Brain Surgery (Tumor Removal) Video

This vintage video is from 1933 and documents open brain surgery during which tumor was removed from patient’s brain. The video is in black and white and is silent (music was added just so there isn’t 8 minutes of silence). I was rather surprised that such fine surgery was possible in the thirties. Hand tools were used to open the skull (rather large opening, if you ask me) – not one of those computer controlled laser thingies. Amazing work on behalf of the surgeon.

Fractured Knee Photos

Remember this nasty open leg fracture? Looks like today’s gore feature is trying to outdo him with their fracture. From my perspective, it looks like fractured knee. I could be wrong, as the fracture is so severe you have no means to determine where the knee should actually be. If you look at the photo above, you’ll notice something akin to a shin bone (tibia) sticking out of the wound.

The pain associated with such massive injury must be excruciating. You best hope the person got lots of morphine or fainted prior to medical assistance. The join is completely shredded. Complete knee replacement surgery is in order – if that’s still possible after injuries of such extent. Ouch!

Head Squished, Eye Just Fine

My fascination with durability of the eyes has no end. It doesn’t matter how severely squished a head gets, the eyes seem to pull through just fine. I always used to assume that the eye would be the first thing to pop when skull is getting cracked because it’s just a jello like substance lacking any form of sturdy wrapping, but it’s never the case. Eyes are a pair of indestructible motherfuckers.

In the case of this unlucky guy who got his head squished, the eye is a bit out of place, but while his skull would flap in the wind like half mast flag, the eye would just scratch the itch and go on like nothing’s happened to it. Eyes are tough motherfuckers. Pretty solid beard on this guy too.

Dead Hobo with a Bonus

Not quite what you would expect dead hobo would look like. This one is missing feet, is naked and rests at the back of a truck. Not a pretty sight by any means. Blood is splattered on the body of the truck suggesting he may have been killed while on a truck, but it doesn’t necessarily have to be the case. The beer can however – why the fuck is that beer can there? And let’s not forget about censoring the genitals. It’s OK to have blood and mutilated body with gut spillage uncensored, but as soon as a peen enters the scene, it must be censored – WTF?

As a bonus with dead hobo, I’m including two pictures of drunks who froze to death after a good night out. It’s fucking cold here in Edmonton and I’m in the middle of a blizzard. It took me two and a half hours to get home because of zero visibility and shitty roads. Fuck!

Kid with Guts Spilled Out of His Back is Hanging Upside Down

This kid is dead. He was shot in the back, which is why his guts are hanging out of the kidney area and hung upside down. Why he’s hung, I do not know. I also do not know what that guy in the background is so vigorously pointing at and why he has that weird smirk on his face.

I’m not an expert on kids, but if I were to guess, this boy was somewhere between 5 and 10 years of age. It’s truly a shitty way to go at such young age. If you’re a seasoned drug dealer and competing gang gets you, then it’s somewhat acceptable, but if you’re a kid and end up dead with your guts spilled out of your back and hanging upside down, then that’s shitty.

People in the country where this is from sure like pointing their fingers.

Open Leg Fracture Photos

This is one of the nastiest leg injuries I have ever seen and it’s a true open leg fracture. I was once browsing through the medical book of my friends and noticed that photos under the open leg fractures section barely contained fractures. There were photos of some nasty leg wounds, or a bone sticking out of a small opening, but no really serious open leg fracture like this one. Whatever the person who ended up with this mess did, it messed him/her up pretty good (most likely a man, given the hair).

Excessive use of cotton is kind of funny. If you look at the pictures intensely, you will see yourself pasting this cotton all over the guy to turn him into a Santa Claus for kid’s Christmas party.

This bone is obviously fucked so badly I can’t imagine a what magical procedure could save it. Perhaps a piece of metal eternally welded to what is left of the bone, but damn… walking’s gonna be tough from now on. It also looks like the leg was busted right below the knee and if sensitive tissues of the ligaments, knee cap, or cartilage were damaged beyond repair, he may never be able to bend that leg again. Unless they have some artificial knees they can mount on him. It’s truly a bad, bad open leg fracture. Two photos are in a gallery below:

Brutal Beatings of Saddam Hussein’s Opponents in Iraq

This video was recorded during Saddam Hussein’s reign in Iraq. Saddam’s police were sent to teach the opponents of the regime a lesson and they delivered. The video is a compilation of various beatings, each of them pretty brutal and endless. I believe some of the beatings took place in prison. In those cases, the prisoners had nowhere to escape and just took the torture as it came.

There were for the most part three to four police with sticks to beat one helpless Iraqi. Despite brutality of Saddam Hussein and his regime, many Iraqis feel that atrocities of Americans after one year of occupation outdid three decades of brutalities by Saddam Hussein and his men.

Suicide by Train (high resolution picture)

Suicide by Train seems to be a smart option for a suicidal man. You can easily botch suicide by hanging, or by shotgun as we know too damn well on Best Gore, or by pills or slit wrists. But when you lay on the tracks to allow the train to take care of your suicidal tendencies, chances of coming out alive are slim to none. If you’re seriously not kidding around and do want to get yourself killed, I don’t think there is any less merciful executor than fast approaching train.

The best thing to do when trying suicide by train would be to get drunk – I think. Cause once your head is rested on the railway tracks waiting for those steel wheels to roll over it, the ramble and the noise could actually make you have last minute remorse and change your mind. Whereas if you get toasted enough so noise and trembling don’t bother you, then you can be up for certain and fast death by suicide. Let Mr. Train do the job.
