Odd Autopsy Photo
What the hell is going on in this photo? It’s obviously an autopsy photo of a guy who may have been exposed to flames before or after death. But well preserved socks and t-shirt seem to go against that statement. And what exactly is the deal with that upwards pointing penis? British term “stiffy” immediately comes to mind especially since we’re talking about one stiff guy in the morgue. Truly an odd autopsy photo.

Nawh… It’s hard to see, but I don’t tbink this is a fire related death. The blackened parts are more than likely from decomp.
You can see the very dark lividity on his back side. After death, the blood follows gravity and drains to the lowest regions, discoloring the skin, (lividity). As dark as the lividity is, proves the guy has been dead some time. The dark veins in the skin, etc… But look at the bottom pic… the T-shirt shows some pretty nasty “Leakage Stains” from the decomp.
This guy is a real “Stinker.” Would hate to have to work on this guy. The smell would be overwhelming.
Corpses can get a “stiffy” because of tissue gas as the body swells. ANY part of the body can swell, and with a “loose” member like a penis, the swelling will make it stand at times.
I once embalmed a fresh body. As I was “pumping” the fluid into him, he got a growing stiffy right in front of me. The pressure in his circulatory system from the pump was sufficient to give him an errection. It was the weirdest darn thing I ever saw. A corse getting an errection. Ha … Guess he really “LIKED” the embalming fluid. hehehehehehe

sachick1- welcome… yeah, you can’t get away from the smell. Many times you can’t embalm them other than making some “injections” and them putting them in a special body bag and filling the bag with some deoderizing desicant powder. Smell abates some after you zip him up, but even then you still get a whiff sometimes, even through the casket.
schlussel- my belle…. What do you do with bodies? you “had one rolled in”… sounds like you work in a mortuary or maybe pathology or something? You present for autopsies?
Yeah… I’ve seen what silicone leakage in a woman’s chest looks like… sticky, stringy, nasty mess… DON”T GO WITH SILICONE, ladies… Schlussel is right Saline implants if you have to do it at all.
I had to embalm the body of an 80 year old woman with implants one time. She looked like a 100 miles of bad road. Wrinkles an inch thick… she looked realllllly old… EXCEPT she had these 20 year old looking breasts sticking up toward the ceiling… hehehehe weirest looking thing. Young tits on an old hag…. kinda grossed me out.
Hmm…bu the looks of the hands and the feet…this person could have been frostbitten…or maybe it was an explosion…not a big one but like a minor explosion…

Licky: i used to do work as a forensic chemist. I worked mainly in da morgue tho. Not much time wuz spent in da lab. My boss used to luv fuckin wif me so he always had me “suit up” for da especially messy n stinkers. Ugh -_- I learned to love it tho! There wuz always interesting story wif each cadaver. Reason I retired from it bc too many lil kids started rolling in. Couldn’t stomach their innocence which had succumbed to very bad tings.

I knew you had lots going on in that head of yours… I could tell by your sense of humor. That kind of humor is ALWAYS a good indication of high intelligence.
I know what you mean by the kids… Luckily, where I work there are several guys and gals doing the same job I do… so I can usually get one of them to work with the babies and kids that come in. I have a hard time with that myself.

Solstice… with the poor quality of the pics you really can’t tell much… it could be frost-bite… but in decomposition, the extremities go quicker… They turn black sooner than the torso. I’m still bettin’ this is just severe decomp… With the head being black also, I really doubt it’s frost-bite. but you could be right.
my vote is on severe decomp buuuuut frost bite is not a bad guess
