Couple Murdered, Dismembered and Beheaded in Queimados, Brazil

Good old Brazil. When residents of Paraíso neighbourhood in Brazilian Queimados, in Rio de Janeiro state discovered the grisly scenes with heavily mutilated couple, they were not impressed. Bodies of murdered man and a woman were dismembered and beheaded and left on the turf in a public place on Rua Henrique Castreolo. None of the residents recognized the couple, leading them to believe that they were not locals.

The police from 24º BPM (Queimados) were notified of the murdered couple and launched investigation. The woman appeared to be about 45, the man in his 60’s. Both bodies suffered severe, deep cuts from sharp object(s). Man’s decapitated head was found laying nearby, woman’s head lay on man’s torso.

A t-shirt was found on the scene. The t-shirt had ball pen writing on it which said: “Língua de Tamanduá” (Can Brazilians help properly translate this? It’s a “Language of Tamanduá” but what exactly is it supposed to mean?). Based on this writing on the t-shirt, the police are guessing that murdered couple may have been accused of being police informants (X-9).

Lingua de Tamandua means snitcher. The meaning is long tongue.
Lingua is the tongue, Tamandua is the anteater.

Too bad there aren’t more pics after the mess is untangled. I’d LOVE to see that.
Did you notice the torso on the right is not only cut in half, (cross-wise), but also split right up the middle?
The term “OVERKILL” seems to fit really well here.

“Yea I was wondering what it took to do that to the torso there,,” Looks like who ever was cutting them up,, was having a little to much fun there,, ;)

as rob1nson said, “Lingua de Tamanduá” stands for “Anteater Tongue” which means snitch (big tongue, talking too much, you know). ‘Lingua’ means ‘tongue’, ‘tamanduá’ means ‘anteater’ and ‘de’ is used to join the subject with an adjective.

“When my baby, when my baby smiles at me, I go to Rio,”
Life is definitely cheap in South America.

  18. oscabeludos says:

    “Lingua de tamamdua”

    tamandua means anteater.

So, as the anteater got a long tongue. here in brazil we say that if someone got a longe tongue… this person speaks too much. They proly gave up some secret or delated someone they shouldnt.

    hope i’ve helped…
    …sry for sucky english.
