Video released by Chechen security forces shows bodies of four slain men – one decapitated – whom they allege were jihadists. Different source maintains that some of the men in the video were kidnapped from their homes in the city of Gudermes and executed – which is why one corpse is headless. Hard to know who is right and who is wrong. Russian army is much stronger than Chechen rebels and a lot of wrongdoing has been done by both sides. Russia likes to be seen as a country locked in a struggle against ruthless jihadists, Chechen rebels want to be seen as guerilla force struggling to maintain their identity against a more powerful enemy.
