These things are done by muslim fundamentalists in pursuit of the policies laid down by their founder, mahommed. The idea that they simply want us to stop interfering in their part of the world is twaddle because they believe that all of the world should be theirs, ruled by a muslim caliphate. Islam is commonly referred to as a religion, but that is only part of it. Islam seeks to lay down instructions for even the tiniest, most private, and innermost secret parts of its adherents lives and even their mode of thought. It instructs them that one of the most vital endeavours they can undertake during their lifespan is the evangelistic spreading of islam everywhere possible. This is to be done by persuasion at first, then cunning and the use of takkiyah, but if resistance is met then force is to be used and islam is to be imposed by conquest. Force is required quite frequently because people are generally sensible enough to realise that adopting a mindset dictated by a violent, raddled old paedophile bandit from the 7th century is not all that desirable if they have not been born into it in the first place.

The overwhelming majority of muslims present a serene face to the world and profess their religion to be the “Religion Of Peace”, and this will be true, but only once every mortal soul in the world has succumbed and adopted Islam and the various sub-sects have finished fighting it out over who has the correct interpretation of disputed minutiae in the will of god and the prophet, the resolving of which will, doubtless, be the most bloody conflict of all! Despite the serene face most of them present to the world, underneath, in some cases, lurks the sick determined violence of the muslim zealot. In virtually ALL cases you can depend on it that if a fundamentalist muslim leader, such as Bin Laden, were to knock on their door and say to them something along the lines of, “my muslim brother, I call on you to help me to achieve the will of allah, in accordance with the writings of the koran, and to deliver a mighty blow to the infidels, and all I need is for you to go and buy me a nice half ton of fertiliser”, then I think you would find there would be very few muslims who would lift the phone to the police and give him away. Because every single one of them knows deep in his heart of hearts that in fact the attitude of the fundamentalist muslims is by far the most closely attuned to the writings of the Koran and the Hadith. And before somebody tries quoting the earlier parts of the Koran lets have it out in the open that the LATER parts are the parts that are considered most authorative and supercede the earlier writings and these are the very parts that are the most enthusiastic about visiting violence on the infidels to force them to adopt islam. You can’t get away from it. It’s there in black and white for all to see in their own holy book. The only reason it has had a veil partially drawn over it all these years is because it is written in arabic and most English translations deliberately gentle off the nasty bits, and anyway who can be bothered to wade their way through the poxy, boring thing in any case?

So, I reckon the aggressors in the video are trying to deliver a message, saying no matter how hard you try to intimidate us, no matter how horrible the lengths you are prepared to go to, we are just as determined and we will match you atrocity for atrocity if necessary and we will keep you and your sick quasi-religion out of our country. However, I reckon they are wasting their time. That approach has been tried before, in medieval times, and it has only ever worked on a very large scale, and even then only temporarily, plus they are dehumanizing themselves. If there is an answer it will have to be a political one. Get the right kind of government elected. In most cases this will mean some flavour of Nationalist government, or at least tinged with Nationalism. Then it will be much easier to frame legislation to hugely restrict, or even bring to zero, the number of muslims present in any particular country.
