Suicidal Man from Austin, Texas Sets His Car on Fire When Police Arrive

Two Austin, Texas citizen killers had their precious handses injured when a driver in the parking lot of Stassney Food Mart at 5717 South Interstate 35 near East Stassney Lane, set his vehicle on fire. Unlike the precious “our lives matter, yours don’t” officers, the driver suffered serious, life threatening burns.

Prior to the incident, the driver reportedly called 911, and told a dispatcher that he had suicidal thoughts and was thinking of harming himself by setting his car on fire.

When the precious officers approached the car, the driver jumped in and ignited some sort of fuel that made the vehicle burst into flames. One of the two precious officers was thrown backwards by the explosion. Both officers were treated and released right away with only minor injuries to their precious handses.

After the incident, the Austin police representative said they were preparing to charge the driver with first degree felony arson.

The message the cops are quite obviously trying to convey is that you, the unworthy citizen, have no right to harm yourself. They want to be the ones to ruin your life and watch you suffer, so don’t you fucking dare taking that joy away from them. They feed off your suffering. Their hard-ons rage when they throw you to the ground so they can kick you while you’re down.

  5. What exactly was the point of that pathetic escapade !?. He clearly was not determined to commit suicide, if he had been he wouldn’t have kept away from the flames like he did. And the full spaz attack on the floor was sad as fuck, what a colossal bell end.
    The explosion was funny when it startled the fuck out of the dibble though !

    • Two things points this to a call for help, first he called the police,, then second waited for them to come,, if he really wanted to kill himself,, he would have done neither of them,, third, give him credit, he did jump back in a try to shut the door, I think if he actually managed it,, he would be a gonna, because he would not have been able to stay still enough to own it back again,,

      But what’s on my mind is what, accelerant was he using, firstly thta went up real fast, and then didn’t die down,, just got stronger,, he planned well, but I don’t think he had any real intentions of carrying it out,, not thta he subconsitouly knew it himself,

  6. I don’t know. I am leaning towards the opinion that maybe people who light their car on fire in a gas station to try to off themselves, should be arrested. The injury to the cop on the drivers side would have been reason enough to shut that clowns screaming up with a hail of bullets if all cops just wanted to kill people. It looked more like they saved his ass.

    • I kind of noticed that as well but just having a fire ball just come out of nowhere right in your face would kind of startle you a bit and all that cause you will be trying to figure out how to go about this.

      so the response time is within user error IMO on this case.

        • The author can generalize as much as he or she wants so long as it comes to keeping people safe.

          I bet the both of you have generalized a bunch of people under a bunch of negative connotations in the name of safety and you both are just too full of yourselves to realize it yet.

  8. Those damn first world problems… There’s nothing that says American suicide more than self-immolation involving an automobile. In China, they’d use a bicycle. Brazil, AKA The Corpse Factory, something inherently dangerous like a pogo stick.

  12. No I wouldn’t slam the police on everything. This guy was an obvious dick. Setting your car on fire at a gas station would have been disastrous if things got out of hand. Not to mention he was deliberately risking the lives of two police officers. Yea I’d charge him with felony arson too and even attempted murder.

  15. Not sure but it kind of looks like one if the officers pepper sprayed his ass to subdue him a bit. In the first view an officer is pointing something at him but what I didn’t quite catch.

  18. what an idiot. he obviously just wanted attention. that was not a fucking suicide attempt. if he wanted to kill himself he’d have put the lighter fluid over his clothes and set himself on fire, he set his car on fire then got out of the car wasn’t even on fire…..

    whatever his problems were before now he is getting charged most likely willg et admitted to a mental ward where they will keep him there for a while and put him on meds.

    totall fail. should have have either killed himself or just voluntarily gone to the psych ward or seen a doctor and wouldn’t end up in jail or detained in a ward.

  20. Ten bucks says these officers were publicly recognized as heroes after this incident. Had it been another person stopping this guy and dragging him away from the flames, the extent of his fame would span two lines spoken while being interviewed on the scene by local news. Im surprised they didn’t shower his car and his body with bullets after the initial explosion of flames. That’s the normal reaction to citizens as far as I know. Or maybe they were waiting for him to do something extremely threatening, like turning his back to them and trying to run away or attempting to pick up his lighter from the ground

      These cops due deserve something,, unlike other videos on here,, they actually tried to help,, and second,, even after getting flashed burned himself,, his there, talking and trying to calm the other bloke down,, then gets up to pull him away,, this is what a majority of cops are like,, it’s just that there are a few bad apples, thta drag the rest down

  21. My fav part of the vid is where the cop gets knocked over by the explosion.
    The guy in the car had warned them up front , so as ‘professionals whose job is to serve and protect’ the cops should’ve been properly prepared, not just approach the car with guns extended. Guy in the car is clearly sick in the head , imo he should’ve been protected from himself and escorted to a suitable institution, not be sued.
    Lawsuit = cover-up for cop incompetence and intimidation to force citizens into obedience.

  23. angry Americans who will be fed up with police brutality vs cops across US. Majority of both white and black Americans are armed with guns, rifles and even Hispanics are armed with some kind of weapon VS cops who are militarized. Among the American civilians also include veterans and recent combat veterans ex Marine, Seals, Navy, Army, Green Beret folks … what will happen? America will be finished off and China or Russia can take advantage of that and destroy America once and for all. Not to mention when that happens, niggers will go on super riot and there will be a fucking race war. Civil War in 1860s will have nothing on this.
