Corpse of Bloated Man Recovered After Drowning on Guapo Beach in Trinidad

Two men – 36 year old Ramlal Pooran of Trinidad and Tobago and his friend went to Guapo Beach near Point Fortin to have some fun sailing on a Styrofoam. Their makeshift flotation device did not hold up in the water with big waves and both ended up going under. Only the friend resurfaced alive.

Ramlal Pooran disappeared and his body did not surface for two days. When it did, it was bloated and the skin was peeling off.

    1. The explanation on the original facebook video stated that the floater showed up about two days after he originally went missing. I would assume the person filming was a third party who just happened to be there when the body showed up at the docks.

  1. Bloater are the best!!!

I crack up all the time. Their faces are like shouting: Plopp!!!

Their huge GORE eyes and filthy thick mouth and tongue.

I crack up all the time. It is pure joy.

Hope we see Svensk soon as a Bloater.

  2. Now… On the third day, I washed her. She wasn’t too clean. I got all the right spots. She’s the only one I kept for a certain amount of time, because I got a real short attention span. Now, I can’t say she enjoyed her stay, but that washcloth I put in her mouth and held it there with a big piece of duct tape kept all her complaining to a min… I don’t like people who talk all the time. I like to do all the talking, which is why I think I’m so fond of you, ’cause you’re so easy-going. Although I do sense a little tension in you from time to time. So, you were out in the world, huh? What was it like?

  3. Ramlal Pooran sounds like an Indian, or Polynesian, name yet the guy looks very white. almost Caucasian-ish. I guess this must be the skin peeling off. You see, underneath, we are all the same. Ramlal looks like a big guy already before the drowning and the bloating. I wonder if he could of floated for a while if rescue was close at hand. Did the friend not raise the alarm immediately? What a sad waste of life. I am sure he never intended to end up like this, just out for some surfing fun, but you have to respect the elements, and be prepared for them.

  6. I’ll have to call the discovery channel after seeing this one!!! I’m thinking about next years shark week, towing that behind a boat off South Africa’s coast, instead of just using the foam decoys to try and entice Great Whites to breach.
