Zetas Assassins Dismembered by Rival Narco Gang in Merida, Mexico
To an outsider it almost seems as though narco gangs in Mexico were playing a game of who can be more ruthless with captives of rival narco gangs. These two guys were dismembered in Mexican state of Merida and their body parts were left on the streets for everyone to admire – obviously to show off what they can do when it comes to turf wars. The two unlucky ones were the ZETAS assassins – a fraternity of murderers who kill for money. This time it was them who got killed and the aftermath is not pretty – dismembered to bits and if you look closely at photo with decapitated head, you’ll see part of the scalp is missing. This Zetas assassin was also scalped.
I don’t know how much torture are these put through before liberating death finds them. I’m not sure if dismemberment is carried out after they are killed or while still alive, leaving them but one option – death of pain.
The public display note that accompanies these dismembered Zetas members allegedly translates into:
Welcome to Michoacan, Zetas fuckers!
I guess we all know what the message rival narco gang was trying to deliver – you invaded our turf. The penalty for this outrage is painful death. That’s how they rule in Mexico.

This is no where near Merida. This was in the town of Zumpimito in the State of Michoacan. It happened back on 6/16/09. I know this, I am from Michoacan.
The exact translation of the sign is “Welcome to Michoacan Stupid Zetas, Attentively: La Familia”

..pendejo can be tranlated many ways so they could be saying zeta assholes, zeta fuckers, zeta dumbfucks (really stupids, but that does not sound right) or even stupid zetas, the word stupid is much stronger in Spanish….and atte is the abbreviation for atentamente which would be like respectfully, or sincerely…we do not use attentively in this case WRONG..

Im from the states and have used drug recreationally in the past. Personally i think drugs should be legal. Seriously, it wastes time from the cops when they could be catching serial rapists instead of a dude puffing a joint or snorting a line not to mention addiction is not a crime its a disease. You throw a junkie in jail and as soon as they get out they are lookin for their next hit (thats if they werent doin drugs in jail already)! And while i do not advocate hard drugs (yeah heroin is a bitch took TWO YEARS to ween off it for good, its been six years 100% sober of smack and all hard drugs) i think its absolutely crazy that weed isnt legal already, alcohol fucks your body up and makes you act like a jackass and it can kill you when abused yet weed just chills you out, makes you hungry and is impossible to overdose on TAX THAT SHIT ALREADY!

Intimidation/extortion tactics. The cartels have a lot of say in certain towns. This kind of shit happens all the time down there these days. I believe i heard a few months ago a cartel member threw a severed head in a nightclub threatening people to stay out of the cartels way and fear them.
