It is a well known fact that Best Gore has the baddest members in the universe, but it also must be noted that their physical attractiveness is just as striking. Today’s edition of “Best Gore Members Rock” is brought to you by Best Gore member Eliska. I’ll let her explain what is going on in these self finger amputation attempt photos:

These are pictures of me nearly cutting off my left ring finger. It’s a series of photographs progressively depicting the event, from a clean finger to the remaining infected hand meat. You can see what I suspect to be the extensor communis tendon of the annularis digit (not bone), subcutaneous fat, followed by some lovely granulation about 24 hours “post-op”.

I would like to emphasize that this was a failed attempt at amputating my ring finger. It takes a long time to cut through when you’re only armed with an old and dull Swiss Army knife and a thin shaving razor, so after several hours I decided to get high instead. It was a lot of fun, and hopefully the second time around I’ll get the job done properly. I don’t understand what motivated me to do it.

It took around three months to heal, and now there’s a notable pink band around my ring finger. I can still move the finger as the extensor communis tendon remained largely intact (though the fluidity of motion is somewhat delimited). However I have absolutely no feeling in that digit anymore.

As always, stunts in these pictures were performed by a professional. Do not try this at home, bananas. Don’t do things you might regret doing later, unless you’re sure you want to do that. Ah, hell with it, Who am I to be telling you what you should or should not do with your own body. Cut it up any way you like. But remember: it’s your body – you’ll have to live with it for the rest of your life.

Message for the Self Righteous

If you’re one of the self righteous, holier than thou demigods who look at their shit and think it’s cookies, take your faggotry elsewhere. There is nothing wrong with mature adults making permanent changes to their own bodies. A tattoo is a permanent change to the body, piercings are permanent changes to the body, circumcision is a permanent change to the body… – for as long as it’s a person old enough to understand what they are doing and what implication it will have on them, they have every right to do it without being judged by self righteous losers.

If you feel compelled to suggest that the girl who attempted to amputate her finger should seek help, first take a look in the mirror and then at your relatives. If you see anyone with a tattoo or a piercing, do yourself a favor and take them to a professional so they can get help. Afterall, according to your self righteous mind, they need it, right?

  14. Good luck geting that finger off next time (if that’s what you want) I’ll keep all my fingers because, one less finger will make life that much more difficult. Life sucks enough as is.

  18. Self inflicted injuries are a telling tale. You may be right that a relationship has gone bad. Girl they are not worth it. Be good to yourself. You are the only one that will stick to you for the rest of your life. Relationships come and go but you are always there. You are a beautiful girl. Don’t do anything you will regret. Love yourself. You deserve it .
