Decomposing Body Smell Disgusts Cleanup Crew
Decomposing body smell is not particularly the most pleasant smell of all. Judging by how these people who took a turn at cleaning up the corpse of a man found in the field cover their faces with their t-shirts, this stinker must have smelled violently. Except from the guy in white t-shit who seems largely unbothered by the smell.
The entire set of these decomposing body pictures is much larger, but mostly they are so similar to each other that I left out about half of them so you don’t have to go through pictures that look near identical to the one you have already seen.
It’s remarkable how facial skin decomposed the first and the rest of skull covering just kind of peeled off (perhaps as they’ve manipulated the corpse). Perhaps field animals assisted with removal of facial tissue as most other pictures of decomposing bodies I’ve seen featured bodies vastly bloated all over, including facial features, but no missing faces. Or maybe maggots ate his face. Gallery of the best of this decomposing body set is below:

here’s wut i figure dude wuz bit by a venomous snake on the neck while chillin in dat humid stank bog, he dies, and tha venom disintegrated his head meat thus leaving his torso n extremeties still intact. i’ve seen snake bites that destroy hooman flesh immediately around the contact site. gnarly gross man. wut yo edumacated guess be?
Schlussel’s idea sounds good. I can’t figure out how else the meat on his head would be gone already compared to the rest of his body. I feel bad for the poor saps who get to deal with that corpse
Could be, Schlussel… I haven’t seen any of the “Robust” snake venom deaths… but I’m still leanin’ toward predation along with the severe decomp. I don’t think venom would account for his cleaned out eye sockets. His legs and crotch look “Eaten” on. predators go for crotch and extremeties.
But this is one strange case. You’d think predators would not just clean a skull, chew on his crotch and legs and leave the goodies in his belly untouched. Maybe he was just too STINKY for them.
