Mastectomy aka Breast Amputation or Breast Removal is a surgical procedure done to treat breast cancer. I can imagine breasts are a very important part of a woman’s appearance as their size and shape are noticeable even on a fully clothed woman (as opposed to say – labia the size of which is nigh impossible to estimate unless one sees the woman naked). Therefore losing a breast or two can be pretty devastating for woman, perhaps only rivalled by a disfigurement of face.
As such, I must express utmost props to the women who posed for these photos. It must take extraordinary strength to expose what likely shattered the world for each of these women. Although I must say that from my perspective – I have never gotten involved with a woman solely for her breasts. Nicely shaped breasts are an added bonus, but certainly not something I’d give a preference to over a character which makes my time spent with her worthwhile. In other words, I think breasts mean far more to the women who have them than they mean to their men. Besides, I find scars sexy and some of the ones in these photos are hotter than actual breasts.
The scary part is that most women with amputated breasts in these photos look very young. I’m certainly not an expert, but it does look to me like breast cancer affects young women a lot. For some of these women the adult life has just started and they’ve already lost their mammary glands. That is just absolutely brutal that a woman so young would be presented with either an option to drastically change her womanly appearance or risk serious complications, even death.
To sum it up – even though undeniably devastating, women faced with breast amputation should know that there are many men who don’t care if your breasts are big or small, scarred or not. Imperfections make for uniqueness and uniqueness is hotness. Nothing gets boring as quickly as perfection.
PS- after two days on the road, I made it to Hong Kong. I’m incredibly tired and faced with another sleepless night spent sitting up on a wooden stool. Hong Kong is nice, but beyond my budget so I’m just gonna spend the night at the airport and move somewhere else. I’m gonna have a lot of sleep to catch up with plus that pesky jetleg to overcome but hope to be back to normal soon.
