A barbaric crime was committed last night – on Saturday January 5, 2013 in the Carobeira district of the city of Ilhéus, state of Bahia, Brazil. An unidentified male approximately 25 year old was bludgeoned to death, probably with a machete. The blows sliced half of his head off but the attackers did not stop there and also slit his throat.
