Late on Tuesday March 12, 2013, 22 year old Jeferson Adelino de Souza nicknamed Pega Leve (Jewgle tells me it means Take It Easy) got into an argument with a 16 year old. The latter left the argument upset and returned to assassinate Pega Leve aided with a friend on a motorcycle. Yes, it was your typical Brazilian motorcycle drive by assassination involving two gunmen on a motorcycle, only this time around the chief gunman was a fucking teenager who couldn’t get over himself.
The crime happened on the street of Our Lady of Fatima (Rua Nossa Senhora de Fátima) in the New Town neighborhood (Bairro Cidade Nova) in Porto Velho, capital city of the state of Rondônia, Brazil. The victim was shot in the head with a .38 caliber handgun and died on the spot.
Police have already arrested the shooter and clarified that the victim was an ex-con gang member currently out on probation. The shooter was reportedly from a rival gang. I guess at 16 years of age, this murder concludes his initiation.

Why does every dead Brazilian always have a nickname. Do all Brazilians have nicknames?
Nobody I know has had a nickname since leaving school except maybe if you can consider referring to somebody as a complete turd or a retard as a nickname.
So the question is, is having a nickname common practice in Brazil or is it just dead people that have them.
It is common for people to give you nicknames, especially annoying nicknames that you don’t like.
Brazilians are disgusting people who have no respect for your privacy and don’t take things seriously. Everything is a joke for them, and they don’t care if they are being annoying. Actually, most of the times, the purpose of nicknames is to annoy you and make you angry. Brazil is a country of trolls.
