Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab was a member of the Pakistani terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba responsible for the 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India. Ajmal Kasab is notable for being the only terrorist involved in the attacks captured by the police alive. He was found guilty of waging war against India, murder, possessing explosives and 80 other offenses. The Bombay High Court sentenced him to death on February 21, 2011 and on November 21, 2012, Ajmal Kasab was executed by hanging. His corpse was buried at the Yerwada Jail in Pune.
