At least 11 people have been already confirmed dead and 60 injured after twin bomb blasts rip through crowded market in Hyderabad, India earlier today. The two near-simultaneous explosions rocked Dilsukhnagar area, a busy commercial district south of the Musi River during the evening rush hour when streets were full of people. Some eye witness say three explosions were heard.
The first blast occurred at around 7 pm near Tiffin Centre, opposite Venkatadri theatre. The second blast was near Konark Theatre, about 500 meters from the first. Preliminary reports indicated that the bombs were planted on bicycles. Indian authorities are careful about placing blames, but words “terrorist attacks” are popping up and Muslim mujahedeen are believed to have been behind them.
