On the night of Friday February 22, 2013 at around 10:30pm to young men were shot to death while sitting in their car. The killers, as one would expect from Brazil were two men on a motorcycle who approached their victims, riddled them with a slew of gunfire and fled just as quickly as they came.
It happened on Capibaribe Street, near the “Favela da Mosca” in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná state, Brazil. The victims were identified as 28 year old Tiago Roberto Tagliaboa nicknamed “Cabidi” and 17 year old Alesandro Jaras Dias. Neither was a Da Silva. The former was shot 7 times in the face, neck, arms and legs. The latter 6 times in the face, neck and chest. Coroners recovered dozens of 9mm casings from the scene.
