38 year old woman is believed to have been beaten and shot to death by people who stole her truck. Identified as Verónica Soto Cruz, the woman’s body was found under a bridge over the San Juan River, by a road that leads to Loma Larga, near Zitácuaro in Michopacán, Mexico.
The victim had multiple stab wound on her body, including a big one on the forehead. Her husband confirmed to the police that Verónica left the house on her 2010 Lincoln Mark LT truck. The police are searching for the vehicle and are hoping that once located, it will lead them to the murderers.
