Two youths were killed in their sleep on Tuesday May 15, 2012 in Barro Preto, Rua F, barrio Bonfinzão, Brazil. 24 year old Joelson Santos Matos aka Nego Jai was a career criminal, suspected of committing murders, attempted murders and drug trafficking. In addition, he was also accused of having fired at a vehicle of Policia Militar.
His girlfriend was 17 year old Ingrid Luana Lima Santana. She also had previous brushes with the police. Both were killed while sleeping in a house where they lived.
