This 10 minutes long video shows the aftermath of a deadly Christmas Day accident which happened on the infamous Br-101 highway in Brazil (we have many videos from BR-101 on Best Gore). At least one person died in the accident and several more were wounded, including a little girl. As is a tradition in Brazil, not only is there an infinite number of flip flops in the video, the accident also involved the infamous Fiat. The fatality is inside the Fiat.
The enviable thing is the flip flop weather. While I’m freezing my nards off, Da Silvas are sun tanning down there. I also got to give it to Brazilians for not ignoring the accident victims. Whether they actually try to help or just gawk is hard to tell, but at least they don’t go complete ignorant on the scene like our friends the Chinese do.

The dead guy must not be in the video unless they died later on. Everyone I see that appears to have been in the crash moved at least a little.

The reason why we never touch people wounded in accidents is because we are instructed, during the driving school, not to do that.
They say if you move a wounded person, you may actually make it worse, especially if it is a spine injury.

It was nice to see people in the crowd trying to be helpful! But why was the paramedic guy in blue “stradling” the patients to assist in getting them on backboards? Don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.

Yeah, They usually turn the patient on their side and slide the backboard under. The rescue crew couldn’t figure out how to put the neck brace on for a while either, must be their first day.
@GoreMonger, I thought turning the victim on their side was routine. Haha, yeah, I noticed they were trying to figure out how to put on the neck brace! On the job training perhaps?
