Men Attempt to Rescue Van Passengers After Plunging Into Pond

Nine people died in a single accident in Sidikalang, Dairi, North Sumatra, Indonesia on Monday, January 2, 2017. Of twelve people on board the van, only three survived after being pulled out by villagers.

According to the info I got, all three rescued were women. Among the dead was a 32 year old driver, and five children aged 9 months, and 4, 5, 12 and 13 years.

According to an eye witness, when the van slid into the pond, it was raining heavily and visibility was next to none.

That pond looks like shit full of inorganic human waste, which got mixed with organic human waste for a while.

  1. Looks as if the 2nd person pulled out was definitely a child.
12 people in one van? Talk about claustrophobia! But I’m sure that’s the norm over there. When they say carpool, they take that shit very seriously.

  2. Few people involved in a real help attempt. The vast majority of the rest just stand there blocking the way and making it even more dangerous to move on the edge. Useless cock sucking flip flop by standers.
