Sad though it was it is a miracle no-one else was killed as she must have been driving like a maniac. The Orange County roads will be a bit safer. Perhaps the photos will make other young people think twice when they get behind the wheel of a powerful vehicle.

What a horrible thing you have done by posting these tragic pictures of Nikki. Her poor family has had enough tragedy by losing their beloved daughter this way and now you have made it 100 times worse. I cannot believe the comment by Jim! What a horrible person to say such things about this poor dead child! Everyone should be more respectful.. Nikki I pray you rest in peace.

you know its funny how alot of you people who posted are saying bad things about the person who put the pics on here….but yet your still here looking at them right along with everyone else. also, as much as it sucks for the family, this is a perfect example of why you dont let a teenager loose with such a powerful car! i dont care if she wasnt a minor. unless she turned 18 and bought the car HERSELF. she should have never been behind that wheel. so maybe…just maybe, having these pics smeared all over the internet will encourage parents to not let children drive their flashy, fast cars.
and just so i make myself clear….kids will be kids and my keys to that car would have been hidden! she wouldnt have had the chance to take off with it. so weither she had permission or not her parents still let it happen. they knew she had in interest in the car…like i said the keys should have been hidden.
i think it’s very sad and childish that people would post things such as those below about someone, especially after their death.

The thing is people, she was a young girl! The biggest mistake of her life was not taking the car, but getting into cocain! That is why they think she drove the car, on the way to get cocain instead of going to her thearipists! Now people check this out because somebody tells them to or not too! It is the human curiousity to look when they are told not to! I am an 18 year old girl also, who looked because they advised me not to! This is a seriously desturbed police man who took these photos, then the father of Nikki recieved absolute horrifing photos emailed to him saying things like, “Woohoo, look at me daddy” and “Look daddy, I’m still alive!”, absolutly HORRIBLE! And it is the police officers fault for letting them out in the first place! Now it is on the officers shoulders that these leaked out, which must feel horrible in itself! Now I am done here, but I thought I would put in my two cents! Thank you, and R.I.P Nikki!

Maddie, I agree, it is immature and childish to make such rude and insensitive comments about someone after they have passed on, esp in such a horrific manner. Especially when the comments are as rude as the one posted by Jim. I will again admit that Nikki Catsouras played a major role in her own death for various reasons but I will also say that NO ONE deserves to die such a horrific death and then have the photos emailed and texted to their family. I mean, I’ve heard 911 calls from both her mother and father and know that her father came across the accident scene. No, he was not allowed to cross the police line but I’m pretty sure he had some idea of how bad it was based on what he DID see. RIP Nikki
