Two People Die When Faulty Gas Cylinder Explodes in Brazil

This happened in Brazil. A gas cylinder, which alleged has not been tested for safety ever, exploded and killed two workers. Unfortunately I do not have any specifics about the incident. The whole cylinder was ripped open from the inside. Not sure what could have caused that.

Worker Falls from Suspended Platform While Fixing Building in Mecca

A worker fixing the exterior of a tall building next to the Holy Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, fell to his death when the suspended platform he was standing on partially collapsed. I’m guessing he was an underpayed migrant slave worker that was sent to do dangerous job without adequate safety precautions.
