The quran may state that theifs should have there arms cut off, but the way this law is carried out is the choice of the government of Saudi arabia…it is not a choice of ALL muslims. People need to understand this. In fact, people who follow our religion correctly(This excludes you osama bin laden)will find that we are peace loving people..even in war we are told not to harm a TREE without a peacefull cause

I agree with the fact that theifs should have one of their arms cut off…it would be a great deterrent for crimes…BUT i do NOT think that it is right to put people through pain while cutting their arms off.There should be a more “humane” way of doing this. If a more pain-free way was used, then i would agree with it completely. Otherwise, it is just wrong(Not all muslims are the same.I am a muslim and i dont agree with the way this law is carried out..but i think its right and it is effective

Let me put it this way… If this method was used from the day laws were introduced, please tell me would ANYBODY with a brain that functions normally ever steal again????
NO ! NO ! NO ! NO Doubt about that!
And can you imagine if theft were no longer a preoccupation in a society??? It would have deep ass positive impact!

Trust me, putting a thief in jail for 6months is like sending a kid to the corner for 6minutes… It doesn’t fix the issue, if anything it only revives it!
