Arrest of Two Men Responsible for Deaths of Six People in Pulomas, Indonesia

Yesterday I reported on the horrific murder that took place in Pulomas, East Jakarta, Indonesia, in which 11 people were locked up in a tiny bathroom, resulting in the deaths of 6 of them.

Today, one day after the incident, Indonesian police reportedly arrested 2 assailants allegedly responsible for the deaths. However, pictures provided by the police show three distinct people cuffed with zip ties.

The police also released the names of the two alleged assailants: Ramlan Butar Butar and Erwin Situmorang. It has not yet been confirmed what the motive of the murder was.

  1. Were they shot or in a struggle trying to resist zip-tie arrest? Seems to be quite a bit of blood loss just laying there bleeding out. Not that they deserve prompt medical attention, but it’d be nice to keep em alive to ensure justice is adequately served.
