Handcuffed Burglary Suspect Escapes in Police Car

Police in White Settlement, Texas arrested Darren Porter at the scene of a burglary and placed him handcuffed in the back of a police car. But the cops did not anticipate that Darren Porter would roll the back window down, open the door and jump in the driver’s seat, escaping the scene in the cruiser like a boss.

The police car was later found abandoned in Fort Worth, Texas but Darren Porter was no longer there and remains at large. On top of the original burglary charges, he’s now also facing the felony theft and escape charges. Epic fail on behalf of the Texas cops.
