Body Burnt Down to Ashes – Only Ribs Still Showing

Body Burnt Down to Ashes - Only Ribs Still Showing

Talk about taking care of business, making 100% sure the victim doesn’t walk it off and that there is little evidence. When done right, there is little left for the police to work with when trying to identify the victim. With naught but a pile of blue ashes and a few ribs sticking out, the coroner is gonna have a darn hard time reliably identifying the real cause of death. The likes of Natanael Bufalo need to take notes.

That being said, let me take this opportunity to thank the Best Gore community once again for being such an amazing bunch and keeping the site strong. It’s been a few months since Best Gore has become home to more than 600,000 monthly readers and we’re well on the merry way to making in a three quarters of a million soon. You guys kick so much ass you have no idea.

To commemorate the milestone, I have at least managed to improve the navigability of posts with attached galleries. Now it is possible to move from one image to another belonging to the same gallery and there also now is a link to return you back to the home post this image is a child of. Thanks for your support and I’m gonna leave you with the promise that much better improvements to the site are in the works and will be introduced in due time. Keep rocking 😉

  1. Yep, death and fire… the great Equalizers.
It doesn’t much matter what size a person is. When reduced to ash, most will be almost exactly the same weight. All fat and most soft tissue burn to practically nothing. Dense muscle, but especially bone, will produce the majority of the ash volume/weight. I have delivered “boxes” of the ashes after cremation MANY times, and it is always in the same size box and nearly exactly the same weight. Only very few ounces different. All bone will not reduce to ash. The bones left have to be “Ground up” in a grinder to add to the ash.

  2. I’ll have to take your word for it that that’s a body 😉

  4. Thanks for the update, ya’ll are the best…. Now, all I need is some shrimp fried rice, beef and broccoli with a swig of flavored water to wash it down while I gaze at the beautiful hue of blue the ashes are against the charcoal grey of the remains. Not a “Cool” way to die…..
