Yeah, I was and still am a bigtime metalhead, but over time I have come to appreciate many other things. I like music that requires exceptional skill, such as fingerstyle guitar or accordion. With fingerstlye guitar you are playing your own bassline while also playing your melody (See “Tommy Emmanuel). Same with accordion, but the roles of your hands are different – also, you cannot see your left hand (bass) while you are playing. I also enjoy banjo alot too, learning the rolls (right hand picking) was difficult at first. It became muscle memory after a while, I just practiced getting it right slowly, then when I was confident in my accuracy I began to speed it up.
