Hole in Abdomen After Ileostomy Reversal Surgery

Aftermath of Ileostomy Reversal Surgery

Today’s edition of Best Gore Members Rock is brought to you by Best Gore member @stranger6669, who underwent Ileostomy Reversal Surgery:

These are pictures of me after an illeostomy reversal surgery. They didn’t even sew me up for fuck sake. I have a gaping wound as we speak.

Ileostomy is a surgical procedure that diverts the small intestine through an opening in the abdomen. It is done to direct the waste out of the body before it reaches the colon. Once the colon has recovered and is able to pass the waste out by way of the rectal opening, the reverse surgery may be performed in order to attach the bowel together.

Thanks a lot for the pics, @stranger6669:

      1. This was not a picture of me, though I do have this at the moment, and am waiting for the reversal. The picture you see is after they reversed it. Otherwise the stoma would be in place of the hole.(Stoma is the name of your “new A-Hole, where you poop from) until its returned back to its normal place.
I presume they will stitch that hole closed shortly.
I will find out soon as my surgery for reversal is due next month.

Also very fascinating to see this here as its something I’m dealing with.

  1. Yea, once your hole starts looking less angry, & inflamed they will attach the short tubing, and waste bag that you will have to change regularly. Good Luck my Good B G Brother @stranger6669, as i am sure that you will come out of it as good as ever, once all is healed-up. Positive Thinking Is Key to a good, and continued healing process my man! 🙂

  2. What does your asshole do with all that spare time on its hands? Take up a hobby?
It’d probably be a good idea to keep on it, you know, assholes being assholes, its liable to get up to some kind of foolishness or something, and get into all kinds of trouble.
Momma always told me, ‘idle assholes are the worst assholes,’and I think she was right.

    1. They come out of your new hole until they reverse it. Sometimes I feel like I got to take a shit, like I used to, then after a while my bag fills up and Im done.
It’s great for when your not home and dont want to use a dirty restroom.
Though I cant wait to reverse mine.

  3. I had that done to me about 10 years ago…you’ll be amazed at how fast it will close up and leave little trace (they prefer leaving it open to close up from the bottom because the healing is stronger). And to some of the morons who made comments, no you don’t sh8t through the hole. What was there before the reversal is a loop of the small intestine pulled up through that ‘plug’ with a small hole cut in it (and need to wear a bag during the time). At the point in the photo, the intestine has been sewed up and put back where it is supposed to be, with the abdominal wall muscles sewed up as well…what you are seeing in the photo is the layer of fat/skin with a hole cut out on top of the abdominal wall (about a ‘1/2 finger-length depth from the skin)

  4. For once, I don’t find it funny because my girlfriend has cron’s disease, had half of her intestines removed and basically wears ostomy pouching system all the time.

Regardless, she’s the hottest girl I’ve ever met and I love her.
