Cool. Thanks. Yeah, I could totally see why they wouldn’t be talked about or mentioned in a mainstream philosophy class. Social justice warriors, feminists and liberals would totally shit brick castles. I started to read a little bit about julius Evola earlier but didnt get that far as I ended up getting busy. Definitely gonna look for what…[Read more]

Thanks. I did I quick look up of them and I’m definitely interested. Can you recommend titles by either one? The occult stuff by Evola sounds like it could be interesting. Also I’m kinda curious how devi combined nazism with Hinduism. Definitely gonna see what they’re both about.

    • For your first Savitri Devi book, I suggest “The lightning and the sun”. For Evola, definitely read, “ Revolt against the modern world”

Most of the philosophy that I was forced to read in school was garbage. I was turned on to these two authors by a friend and there world view, blew me away.

Cool, thanks! I’ll see what I can dig up at the library. What’s cool is if I can’t find a certain title, they’ll order it for their collection and put you down to reserve the first check out.

Nice, thanks! I’ll give his books a go, sounds like it could be right up my alley. I just finished reading the House of Night series by p.c. cast and Kristin cast. It was more of a young adult supernatural series but it was well written. It definitely got me back into reading again… ugh I absolutely hate waiting for a next book in a series to…[Read more]

Anything really as long as it’s a good read… horror, mystery, true crime, sci-fi, romance, fiction, nonfiction, drama… I read like I eat, I’ll try anything at least once!! Lol!!

    • Not a bad way to be! I’m really into Dan Simmons at the moment – someone recommended his book The Terror to me and I’ve been reading his stuff since. If you like historically based, supernatural horror with gut-wrenching isolation, then it’s a cracking read. I’m currently reading Simmons’ book Drood which focuses on the later years of Charles…[Read more]

    • Simmons has a series of books called the Hyperion Cantos which consists of 4 novels. I haven’t gotten round to reading them yet but he’s a beautiful writer.

    • Try Julius Evola or Savitri Devi, for nonfiction.

My favorite fiction book is “The count of Monte Cristo” by Alexandre Dumas.
