Bloody Aftermath of Clash Between Philippine SAF and MILF in Maguindanao

On January 25, 2015 the Philippine National Police Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) clashed with jihadists from Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) who were aided by fellow jihadists from the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF).

According to local sources, at least 30 Philippine elite police officers were killed during fierce firefights which took place in the village of Tukanalipao, near Mamasapano, in Maguindanao province, the Philippines.

In contrast, Reuters cited local officials in Mamasapano as saying 27 police officers and 5 rebels were killed. Additional 7 police officers remain unaccounted for. They however reportedly captured 8 rebels.

According to MILF chief negotiator Mohagher Iqbal, the clash was triggered by lack of coordination on the side of SAF.

Special Action Force went to the area controlled by the Muslim rebels to arrest Malaysian man Zulkifli Bin Hir, nicknamed “Marwan”, who has a $5 Million bounty by the US Federal Bureau
of Investigation on his head. Marwan is known to be expert bomb-maker.

  1. Considering the Philippines has usa cock all over its face and ass, they still don’t care enough to put these akbars to sleep.
They want it to get big enough so that more money is thrown at this. And of course the filipinas has to give a lot more away by taking away from the poor.

  2. How do you send police officers to fight military trained guerrilla?
The Philippines has no military or what?
Isra-HELL has atomic bombs and a bigger country can’t even fight these clowns.
Philippinos are too busy worrying about how to buy $2500 purses and iphones to help their own country.

    1. Lol. We do have an army. National Police getting involved is pretty much what baffles me about this as well. Must be some sort of a raid, that’s why they sent police force instead.

Weak national defense. Bad funding in it, really. Corruption at its finest. Plus, ISIS funds these guys, and government officials and high ranking military officials sell weapons to the terrorist groups.

Long looooool at the last part. Filipinos barely give a shit about this unless some terrorist bombs a mall. More interested in some celebrity wedding or the anticipated Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight.

      1. That sucks. Because you’re not a small populated island. And can easily turn the country around. But like you agreed. The poor population, the ones that matters are the most are the most ignorant and would benefit from a big change.

      2. Well you gotta admit. Kababayan Kay in a scenario you’ve been flag down by a cop while driving a car. What kind of cop you would prefer in an encounter? A US cop that any minute he might slam you on a ground or shoot you dead if he thinks you make a wrong move…or our very own corrupt Filipino cop that you can plea with a touch of bribe money(about 500php) you can easily move on? 🙂

        1. Hey, they upgraded their game a bit up a notch. They’re asking for more than that now. Say, double the price. Hahaha. Times are real hard, ya know. .

Besides, what the fuck are they gonna shoot people with when the government can’t even afford guns and bullets? Lol. What a country we live in. No wonder why people think so little of us.

  3. Looks like a bad ambush. The guerrilla war in the Philippines has been going on for decades, and I mean 100 years. Mac Arthur’s father fought them in a bloody war, the Japs fought them but mostly left them alone, we fought them again after WW II, and the Philippines is still fighting them and probably will until the islands they are on are leveled.

  4. The Filipinos can’t fight against Islamists but the Americans and their Capitalist allies to keep Emilio Aguinaldo’s anti-American revolution for the country. If they don’t, like Iraq and Syria, the Islamists will move in to destroy the country and Christianity in decline currently.

  5. The last guy with the epic brain drain appeard to have some kind of dressing applied to his leg “that wasnt there” . Not sure tho (crappy footage) . Maybe headshot came afterward? Execution style?

  6. i traveled to this area, specifically around Cotabato and north in 2008 and I remember all the stares I was getting from the locals. Later the cops showed up and took me to their station and asked what the hell I was doing there, and that i was in danger, I said “the MILF wants to kill you cops, not some kano tourists”….
still, I left the next day

    1. I second Assasinisher’s motions, deadvector. There have been far too much incidents where White people are taken hostage because the demand for ransom is way higher if the captive is White, and it calls more media attention.

If you ever step on the country again, I suggest you tread lightly or stay away from Mindanao. :/

  7. I am lying right next to my Filippina G/F and she is just shaking her head… These Islamist murderers have been at it for 50 years. Murdering, kidnapping, worse.

There is no making peace with them. They are hell bent on converting everyone the world over and if you do not convert, you are an infidel to be slaughtered.

Unfortunately, the only answer to this would look a whole lot like genocide.

  8. Those were executions and or finishing off the wounded. Shot in the head and losing more than two dozen elite officers? They named themselves that so they could feel better about themselves whenever the topic of their lackadaisical training was brought up.
