Russian Freestyle Wrestler Yury Vlasko Killed During Brawl at Lake Baikal

On July 29, 2017, twice European champion in freestyle wrestling Yury Vlasko of Russia, was killed during a brawl near the village of Goryachinsk, on the shore of Lake Baikal in Buryatia, Russia. Survivors of the brawl said Vlasko was struck with a knife in the back of his head and neck.

Yuri Vlasko was reportedly the son of Transbaikalian kingpin Vladimir Vlasko, nicknamed Volodya Khokhol. Khokhol was shot dead along with his driver in October 2010 by an assassin paid for by his rival kingpin.

  1. il tell you this all now and its the truth wether you want to admit it or not . you can be mike tyson .. you can be bruce lee .. you can be brock lesnar, i dont give a fuck who you are if you come up against a group of men that number 5 or more you are getting fucked up, even if they are average sized men. you can only swing at one guy at a time and unless you knock them out cold rapidly one by one then you are going to get overwhelmed. what you see in the movies .. even with bruce lee, is absolute bullshit. in a street fight when a group comes at you from different angles and they are in numbers then you are fucked. dont believe youtube clips and dont believe the movies just never take a group on.

    1. Well maybe most cases that would be the outcome. There was a video on Liveleak years back of one guy fighting off more than 5 guys. Guess it also depends on HOW the group attack.
If they take turns to attack – which I think was the case – maybe 2 at once was the max – coz only so many can get in close to the victim with fists swinging at you.
The outcome was that the group lost the fight & the ones still standing ran off.

    2. Inject some steroids to any real fighter and put em up against various individuals who are already scared of you to begin with and no steroids on them.
The man on steroids will absolutely rip them to pieces.

  2. *******WRESTLING MOVES BANNED BY THE WWE******
    1) knife to the neck or throat – fairly dangerous due to problems with correctly timing the knife shot, which could lead to a wrestler still taking some (or even all) of the blow to their throat and back of neck.
    2) chair shots to head – chair shots to the head were (quite rightly) singled out as a major contributor to health problems in professional wrestlers.
    3) Burning Hammer – This move is so dangerous that it has only been performed a handful of times professionally, all by the same wrestler, and never in WWE. In concept, the move is similar to John Cena’s Attitude Adjustment, a fireman’s carry slam. The difference is that the wrestler taking the move starts by laying on his back across his opponent’s shoulders, rather than on his front, and instead of flipping over to land in a typical back bump, is dropped straight down to the side, usually landing on the shoulders, head, and neck.
