Achilles Heel Tendons Ruptured in Motorcycle Accident

Today’s edition of Best Gore Members Rock is brought to you by Best Gore member @malicious30, whose dad ruptured his tendons on the Achilles heel in a motorcycle accident:

My dad had a motorbike accident today. I only got to take a pic of some of it but he is now in theatre putting his tendons and Achilles heel back together. The other pic was taken in hospital before theatre

Many thanks for the pic, @malicious30. I wish your dad fast recovery. I hope he wasn’t riding in flip flops:

          1. Yeh since this corona bs started me and my girl have binge watched, the sopranos, the wire, Oz, boardwalk empire, LOST, band of brothers, the Pacific, Znation and generation kill aha

  1. Give it a few days and with some superglue, stitches, and a band aid he will walk it off. Won’t be running for a while! Just joking- hope he gets better and recovers 95% of his pre-accident mobility. I heard you can never fully recover from Achilles injuries. Btw- it’s called an operating room over here – if you call it a theater some will think your dad is acting in a stage play. I understand though that some places call it a theatre (theater) even the spelling changes…I wonder why ?

  2. After a complete rupture of the Achilles tendon, the average treatment time varies between 6 and 8 months, but in some cases if the recovery is very long or if physiotherapy is not performed 4 to 5 times a week, it can take 1 year for a person returning to their normal activities, she will have plenty of time to masturbate while snacks arrive and drink Pepsi Lol

  3. Those injuries take forever to heal and are a nightmare to rehab. This one looks about as bad as they get with the tendon completely torn and exposed.
My guess would be that he will need a tendon graft either from a cadaver or split from one of his own tendons.
