Man Cut in Half by Train in Santa Mesa Part of Manila, Philippines

In Santa Mesa part of Manila in the Philippines, a man was cut in half by a train on the Philippine National Railway track.

The video appears to show the train moving forward to get off the halved man, who was then pulled off the tracks so as not to impede any train traffic. The crowd couldn’t wait to get a glimpse of the spectacle. Children were rubbernecking as hard as adults.

Props to Best Gore member @TruePinoy for the video:

        1. In some areas where the train cruises, there were slum houses just a few meters from the railway track. Squatters hurl stones, debris, sometimes fecal matter at the train when it passes. So, the authorities decided to put stainless steel wire mesh protecting the window, and the passengers from the subnormal squatters’ attack.

    1. No, they were yelling “Hey thats Tata from Mindoro!” There I just translated it for you. ^_^ Tata is a common nickname here in our country. Other examples are Toto, JingJing, BongBong, Nene. Can you see the pattern already? haha. Also you can hear them saying “Mindoro” which is a big island province here in the south part of Luzon. Go look it up.

    2. They are Yelling his nickname,.. it goes something like this,
“oh,its TATA” its him? yeah. the one who is nearby place who had played basketball in our neighborhood recently with guys here?.. yeah.. oh,poor TATA..
anyway sorry for my bad English..

      1. translated good enough….I was trying to figure out what they were saying as I speak Tagalog myself but couldn’t understand half of the language, but that’s about right though! I thought they were saying Tatay (dad) of Doro and did not realize it was Tata a nickname, I guess i’m missing half of the words aside the vid …:)
        R.I.P Tata

  2. Flip flop, flip flop, flip flop, flip flop… damn I lost count. “Hey dont worry, we cn just cover him up with the large abundance of litter in our community”
I love me some train gore 🙂

  3. Flip Flops v.s. Train = Death

    When will they learn?!
( i secretly hope they dont because it makes for good content like this!)
Also whats up with the like 5 different police uniforms?? Some of those dudes looked more like fashion police in their skinny jeans, tight shirt, aviaters, n of course rocking the invincible flip flop. Wtf is up with that place??

    1. You know it is possible he could have lived, what about that man in i can’t remember which you prob have already seen, some asian country who literally like this was cut in half and he survived.

  4. Now he has tailored himself well by letting the train snip the other wingled half to kingdom come.
Why visits surgeons when trains can do the job at no cost .
Mind ya ; in Indonesia ,its free for all.

  5. its hard to say how i remember the legs or torso lol well its sad but mind altering at same time respect the train if moving wait till it isnt but perhaps was mans wish who knows.

  6. I love it. Drag the two halves away and yet leave the gooey lump of guts and skin up against the side of the track rail. I wonder how many people didn’t see the lump of gooey meat before they stepped in or stumbled over it while wearing only flip flops one their feet?

    1. I had to scroll back up to see what ‘crown’ you were referencing and I’m glad I did because I happened to spot a T-shirt that said ‘RAIL POLICE’ in the vid when I did so and it made me chuckle.
