A man tried the famous wheelie maneuver in the Northeastern Brazilian State of Maranhão, and it didn’t exactly had the result he anticipated. He somehow lost control of his motorbike and got his leg skinned to the bone. His face tells the rest of the story.
As usual, the Da Silvas gather around in their infamous flip-flops to watch the carnage, take some photos or videos and send them to their friends. A child, who is probably desensitized after seeing such things quite often, can be seen. But I mean, aren’t we all here at BestGore desensitized to some degree? In truth, the gore we see is on a digital form, so how would we react if we saw it happening in front of us? This reminded me of a car accident I saw a few years ago. The car was cut in half, and a body with a white yet bloodied forensic sheet was laying on the ground. And although I felt a rush, resulting from the initial shock, it was short-lasting and I felt indifferent right afterwards, for I immediately reminded myself that that is just how life is. It has a beginning and an end, which may come in unexpected ways.
A trail of blood can be traced to the flip-flops the man was wearing, Brazil’s eternal bad omen, alongside the surname ‘Da Silva’. Since one can’t remove one’s surname, why not at least avoid the closest thing that inadvertently gives you bad luck? Shouldn’t they know this by now? But some people just don’t learn. Should we however pity these guys who perform such reckless and dangerous road tricks, putting not only themselves, but others at risk? Well, lesson learned I guess. I bet he won’t do that again.
