Absolutely Beyond Brutal Beating of Bound and Gagged Man with Metal Tube

At Best Gore, we see the absolute worse of what humans are made of on a daily basis. But this video seems to go way beyond your average brutality humans are capable of. The only video I think can match its brutality is the baseball bat beating of prosecutor’s brother by Mexican cartel.

The video depicts a bound and gagged man on the floor of some shed getting beaten senseless with a metal tube. It looks like one of the tubes used as a foundation for a scaffolding. The attackers strikes the defenseless man with it all over his body at full force. There could not have been a single bone in the victim’s body that would not have been broken. Several full force blows were also delivered to his head – those must have cracked his skull and cause bleeding to the brain, yet surprisingly the man never passed out.

Half way through the beating, the attackers accomplice comes to the victim and repeatedly stabs him in the spine. Resulting bleeding leads to significant blood loss that stains the floor. How the victim never died during the course of the video from all this is mind boggling.

Best Gore member @celcas provided some background information:

The attackers are drug dealers from Rio de Janeiro city in Brazil. The victim was from Favela da Proença – a rival favela. Allegedly, he was beaten to death (which would not surprise me). Here’s translation of conversation:

00:07 someone say “He is verme” – verme literally translates to worm, or maggot, and is used to address someone that they dislike, i.e. any cop, or a rival gang member
00:14 “Wait, just me. Really fast, just me…”
00:33 “You’re going to die verme!”
00:46 “Are you going to let him die now?”
01:23 someone start to say from where this dead man is

  1. In the begining of the video after the first blow they say, “not in the head or he will faint!”, so i think they werent trying to kill him, just damaging enough to send the rival gang a message. Notice how those stabs werent deep either, just fleshy enough to cause him to bleed.

    At 01:23 they say: “look here, he is from Proen?a (must be some fucking slum in the World Slum Capital – disgusting Rio) wanting to intimmidate friends (is a slang they refer to each other). End up like this, fucked. From Proen?a this fucking germa is (german is a slang for someone strange to their hole).

    I don’t see the point of beating someone that is tied up or held down.. if a bunch of men or women are going to beat someone up and kill them at least let them fight back…
    obviously there are many people out there that get off on hurting defenseless people…

            I always recommend a tossed salad for the appetiser, followed by a well marinated bacon-wrapped pork roast before finishing with the obligatory cream pie.

            Just don?t ever ask for crushed potatoes, I did once and had to pretend to be a cowboy for an entire month as a result.

  17. Sounded like they were using thin walled hollow pipe to me…possibly even aluminum. I could very well be wrong but I would have expected a much deeper thud when it hit him and broken bones for sure. Even when the pipe would hit the ground it sounded kinda tinny to me.
    Either way this seemed to be a hate crime…they definitely hated the guy, that’s for sure.

  23. Very few crimes deserve a punishment like this. This is just plain brutal. But from what I have gathered they actually resorted to this just because he was from another area? To do something like this for such a minor reason like that? Savagery.

    Likely goes on all the time in Favelas, the victim here is probably no choirboy.

    A truly innocent victim is where the absolute worst of humanity is seen.
    So many examples but for me 3 guys1 hammer was the most shocking I recall seeing here. You watched it, wished badly it was just a fake and hadn’t happened and then slowly realised it did, true hell on earth.

    1. “Alemão” means, in a favela context life, “enemy” or “rival gang member trying to get the power of some rival gang territory”. That guy was probably killed after this video, but before this he was beating for some more time.

      I dont know why “alemão” is a slang for “enemy” in the favelas of Rio de Janeiro. Normally, “alemão” means “german” (from germany).
